Vuosaari Harbour in Helsinki is one of the leading ports in Finland. The port has a good balance between import and export and the connections are excellent with the railroad leading right up to it.

The channel depth in Vuosaari is today a maximum of 12 metres, but plans are set to deepen the port in the future. The port is specialised in containers, break bulk and RoRo traffic.

Rauanheimo in Vuosaari Harbour

In Vuosaari, Rauanheimo especially handles forest industry products, such as cellulose and sawn timber. Thanks to large investments in both machinery and warehouses, we have been able to make handling very efficient. Among other things, we have replaced much of the manual work with modern machines, which enables more cost-efficient handling.

Rauanheimo also handles bulk cargo in the Port of Loviisa, which, as Vuosaari, is part of the Port of Helsinki.
